The Story
Forged in the firepits that are the pubs and taverns of the ACT, KillWater are founded on mateship, and many years of shared experience.
They are driven in the search to unearth their musical influences in live music that brings them back to where it all started, in the spirit of the godfathers of Blues, funk and soul.
In their search they shamelessly draw
upon life's universal themes with songs about getting it on, getting down, getting even and wanting more and getting less.
They are influenced by the likes of Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Bill Withers and Freddie King through to the great rock greats like Led Zeppelin, Cream and Jimi Hendrix, and put it out there with their own electric Funk/soul infused rockin' blues that are heavy and sweet, with a whole lotta love, and dirty it up with some of their own smokin' bluesy numbers.
